serves as the associate speaker for It Is Written. Raised in a military family, his extensive travels fostered an early appreciation for diverse cultures. After studying the Bible during his years at the University of Florida, he pursued evangelism training and has since conducted more than 90 campaigns across multiple continents. With 15 years of experience as an evangelist and school administrator, he is known for explaining complex biblical topics clearly. He ministers alongside his wife, Hildelisa, and their children, Noelani and Justin.
Cody Francis is currently serving as the secretary-treasurer for ASI (Adventist-Laymen’s Services & Industries). Previously, he has served as ministerial director for the Michigan Conference, pastored in northern Michigan, served as Academic Dean of Hartland College in Rapidan, Virginia, and as a church planter in the Seattle-metro area. Cody loves evangelism and has a burden to share the good news of the Three Angels’ messages with as many as will listen and to help others to fulfill this mission. Cody and his wife, Mandy, are blessed with three daughters (Karise, Serena, and Hosanna). In their free time, they enjoy many outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, and backpacking.
Executive Secretary, & CUASI Liaison. Celeste Ryan-Blyden leads the union's strategic communication work, including serving as liaison for CUASI. For nearly two decades, she has helped tell the stories of how God is moving across the Columbia Union and has championed the role of lay members, media, and communication in mission. As "one of our own," Celeste brings a unique perspective on how CUASI members can use their platforms, voices, and stories to lift up Jesus across our territory.
Mark Finley, a longtime evangelist and former General Conference vice president, and his wife, Teenie, lead the Living Hope School of Evangelism, training members to share the three angels’ messages through practical, Christ-centered outreach. They bring decades of experience in public evangelism, small group ministry, and lifestyle witness, with a passion for helping ordinary believers become effective soulwinners. At Hartland, you can expect clear biblical preaching, practical instruction, and stories that show how God still changes lives when His people step out in faith.
