In a world of uncertainty and shifting values, how can we remain steadfast in faith while navigating the complexities of politics and the prophetic signs of the last days? Join us at Hartland College for an inspiring and thought-provoking event, Stand Firm: Faith, Politics, and the Last Days.

This event will explore the intersection of biblical truth, current events, and the challenges believers face in an ever-changing world. Through dynamic speakers, engaging discussions, and a focus on God’s Word, we will uncover how to stand firm in faith while understanding the role of politics in the unfolding of last-day events.

Speakers:

Eric Walsh, MD, DrPH,

Has served two United States presidents (George W. Bush and Barak Obama) as an advisor on HIV/AIDS. He has served at several churches as an associate pastor. Dr. Walsh is now a practicing physician and health care administrator. He travels the globe speaking on many subjects. His wife, Jacqueline, is his partner in ministry and best friend.

Steve Dickman

Has served most of his life in the supporting ministries. He served as president of Harbert Hills Academy for over 25 years. He served as ASI president for six years and has assisted with leadership for The Layman Foundation, The E. A. Sutherland Education Association, and a number of other supporting ministries. Since 2021, Steve has served as OCI president. Steve and his wife, Brenda, live in Tennessee and are parents to two grown and married children.

Much of the world lives under governments where the state power is directed or controlled by a religious belief system. In those countries persecution of religious minorities is not uncommon. Prophecy tells us that one day even America will combine church and state and complete the world to follow. Ultimately America will raise the rod of persecution. This is state-sponsored righteousness by works. Hence understanding righteousness by faith is critical to surviving in these last days.

We have the privilege of living in a very unique time in earth's history. God is calling us to mission and we must decide if we will answer his call. With billions of possibilities, why would he call us and call us now?

10:45 AM3 Beasts, 1 Remnant | Eric Walsh

The two beasts of Revelation 13 and the beast of Revelation 11 are all active in the world today. False revivals are springing up and claiming to be under the influence of the Holy Spirit. However, we are told that the ministers of Satan will be transformed into “ministers of righteousness.” A small group called the Remnant will exist and have to face the wrath of the 3 beasts mentioned. The remnant must be ready for the coming time of trouble. We will discuss Remnant belief and Remnant living in an age of beasts.

As the time of trouble approaches, there will be many distractions to keep the people of God from focusing on being like Christ. The world will divide into two groups of people, one with the seal of God and the other with the mark of the beast. How do we stand firm in a time of chaos? What do we need to do to be sure we receive the seal of God and not the state-sponsored mark of the beast?
